The way I did this here was to just drop all the tables with forums/categories in a div and give it columns: 2;, so all the ordering and stuff was decided by the browser.

Granted, the server that hosts Kuribo64 keeps going for a million years, but the Internet immediately stops existing so it's impossible to access.

I wish I actually had something to use this pretty nice Vim setup of mine for.

Unfortunately, upgrading your computer seems like it's your best option, there probably isn't much else you could do to speed it up with specs like that.
