What if we could send data to a literal cloud? Then you ask questions such as:

What does the cloud look like? What happens when it rains or snows or whatever?

What happens when the data evaporates? What happens when the data condenses?

Come and imagine literal data clouds with us! :D

How about a DNA cloud? There could be extraterrestrial civilizations that do use DNA storage but the literal cloud would probably be in a chamber in order to protect the DNA.

Or make a cloud composed of mostly semiconducting particles. I dunno, gaseous gallium?

How would we safeguard the DNA from raining, evaporating and condensing...?

How do we safeguard the DNA from overall degradation, which I remind you is very, very fragile?

if we think logically there is no point in this thread lol

anyway, I'd send my game save data to the cloud. takes up space on the system..

Bump. Maybe we could store the data cloud in a cryogenic freezer somewhere in some Nordic country.

Or just force people to use other people’s data. :P

Hopefully we could make encryption clouds if we were saving private information like this.

Yeah! You don’t want somebody hacking your save data! :)
