The used one in the first game has some obj_args, that are not used for normal launch stars, so i guess, it would work like a normal launch star, if these args are set to default. Also, it has that "Semi-transparent" model of itself, which differs from normal launch stars.
What's the real name for this galaxy? If you don't have a name for it you could call the galaxy Pixel Galaxy or Retro Galaxy or 8-bits Galaxy. Posted by gridatttack Nope, sorry. Basically I just roughed out the design in a pixel art tool called Aseprite, then manually converted it using a hex editor for the game's format. |

That's not the point. What I meant is that only releasing it to your app is gonna greatly affect the amount of people who play the mod as far from everybody is gonna use it. Well Riivolution works only with an original DVD, and I don't see how I could bypass this limitation nor think that another SD/USB backup loader works with realtime patching. Actually you could just download the mod with modtendo!, and after patch a backup with the Riivolution mod downloaded, but I recognize that it's not very convenient. while the wii is the main target, i suggest that after it is finished, work on getting a PC version up and running (not so much mobile because who the heck uses a phone to download mods for a wii?) because while this removes the exclusivity, it would still be much more convenient for people. obviously the wii would be the main target and would get updates and stuff first, but the PC version would be there for people to also download mods there.
basically, putting main focus onto a wii version while still adding a PC version would ensure that modtendo! is still useful, while also being available on other platforms. also, dolphin. ____________________ who would come back from inactivity out of nowhere just to edit their signature? yeah, likely story. |
