Want to relive the 2006-2012 glory days of YouTube? VidLii covers that!
http://www.vidlii.com/

It is honestly a good video sharing site with a great backing community. It’s software is based on an open source script but has been heavily modified to make it more like the YouTube of yesteryear. ^^

I’m known as IceFairyAmy on there, although I only have 1 video so far. ^^

Feel free to sign up and check it out. Limits are 15 minutes and 1GB max video size.

Considering the limits I doubt people are going to take it over youtube.

wheres my 1080p60fps? I CANT UPLOAD ANY MORE VIDEOS AT THIRTY FRAMES A SECOND! ONE GIGABYTE FOR 15 MINUTES IS NOT ENOUGH!

My concern was mainly that lots of videos go over 15 minutes.

"The glory of Youtube from 2006 to 2012" so a place with basically no rules, no monetisation program, and where visibility was entirely random?

And when the layout wasn't changed every other month or so to something nobody liked. :P

Well, it's just an alternative. I'm not asking you to ditch YouTube for it. :P

"most popular" vids there get around 100 views max. sure, it's new, but that's small. dunno whoever runs this.

I'm not putting much faith into this. it's not the most successful alternative to youtube. those mostly gain popularity when google is doing odd shit with youtube.

It's not based on an open source project that was heavily modified, it was coded from scratch.

VidLii doesn't look all that great. Probably best to use BitChute instead tbh.
