I've actually tried replacing Wario with other character models such as Luigi's as a test before, and I think it also crashed. I'm afraid I don't know how to replace Wario without having the game crash, but if anyone does know my guess is it would be Fiachra.

Mario party ds waluigi model and make it to nds rom(cant patch)
oh yeah i use my mom phone to download nds one and i use waluigi whenever i play it

If you send me a PM I can probably help you get the Waluigi 64 ds hack as it is right now, but unfortunately the Waluigi model from Mario Party DS is pretty much nonexistent on the internet, and I haven't been able to rip the model from the game either.

This mod looks awesome, but I really don't want to lose Mario (or Luigi or Wario); is it possible at all to replace Yoshi with Waluigi instead? It'd be cool to have all 4 guys available.

Why don't you make a separate character for waluigi? Replacing mario makes no sense
