The squid doesn't need to be repeated, as the Mario and Baby Luigi in my post layout don't need to be repeated.

It's better when it's not transparent. I suggest you lower the overall contrast of the background, probably by darkening it overall. They seem really distracting.

Where R is the red value, G is the green value, B is the blue value (all three values combine to make a color). A would be the alpha, transparency, and it can range from 0 (completely transparent) to 1 (opaque), where you'd input decimal values like 0.5 for 50% transparency. I prefer values like 0.8 and higher for the sake of readability.

You should disable the sig line and remove the coding for the signature? The darker image does look better, so kudos for that. Not sure what you mean by "dark blue things". The post layout is dark blue? I think you should tinker with the color picker. You can do this via right click-inspect element and find the value for your current color. And then, you can alter that.

It's not bad, though I think the brown should be muted a bit, like saturation should be turned a notch down.
