Personally, I believe religion is an outdated concept that has next to no practical use in modern society, but that being said, I do believe there's plenty of good, genuine things about it.

The few good things religion teaches (and the bad things it teaches but Christians ignore) don't really redeem what it has done for humanity. Religion has motivated people to discover sometimes, but more often it seems to unnecessarily suppress knowledge. |

religion and politics are something i don't wanna touch very often, it only causes drama, and i think people shouldn't take religion and political viewpoints (unless of course they're being an idiot about it) as a way to explain how people are bad

It causes drama because people more often than not aren't mature enough to understand or actually discuss about politics.
Though I still stand by that Trump deserves nothing less than scorn and contempt at this point and if you continue to support him you ARE complacent with his coziness with white supremacists and global warming denial and you should be aware of whom you are supporting and that you are fine with it, complacent with literally genocide advocates and anti-science mongrels, and willing to overlook just because he might, MIGHT bring jobs. |
