well... It's STILL off. I can tell because the area affected in-game is larger than what the rendering shows.

Also clever color coding! ;)
Actually, Maybe there should be some sort of legend that new people can take a look at.

I'm working on that right now, lulz. I'll update the thread's first post asap.
Just found some time to edit the first post. I've added a new image showing the object colors.

May I ask what the Child Color is for, on the OP?

Child Objects are part of the Odd boss setup in SMG1

Anyhoo, Path's STILL aren't 100% supported.

Make a new path somewhere and save & close. Re-enter and the parameters panel DOESN'T go past Path Argument 3 when you select the path.

Confirmed it. That's glitched..

Quick question: what's the difference between gravity scale and gravity range?

They are two different ways of defining the area of effect of gravity. I think.

Also, one is more precise (I think). Don't know which.

Emphasis on "I think."

I can't fix something that I can't replicate.

I don't know that much about gravity areas, sorry. I made very few tests; the gravity rendering is experimental.

For me, range is more precise. Scale is a bit bigger.

SuzakaneKun, I'm sure you've seen my post on the NMG forums where I had a problem of crashing, which then turned into a problem of sling star placement. I was thinking at first that it was just how the game was, but now I think it's a problem with Whitehole. Is it possible to look into it? An example is the small brown planet that has a launch star in Yoshi Star Galaxy (SMG2). In the game, the launch star is placed on the planet, but in Whitehole, it is placed waaay off the planet.

Another thing: Sorting Paths by ID is not a good way to do it. Why? Because you can't change it. THEREFORE we end up with 2 of the same path ID. Crashing the game. So WARNING to everyone until this get's fixed: DON'T USE THIS VERSION TO ADD PATHS!!!

Change the path ID yourself and then you're done. The path indexes, which link to the file in the map archive, are set up correctly. You are doing something wrong.

YOU CAN'T
The Path ID is a non-editable field.

EDIT: Wait... that's not the path ID... that's the... Path INDEX.

Crapo. :P

Glad that's explained. The path ID is used to assign it to objects. It's like the unique l_id for objects. The index is used to assign it to a file. If the path index is 4, it loads the content from CommonPathPointInfo.4.

So that was the problem in the galaxy I sent you a while ago?

I never fixed the crash...
