Ok, Today I thought about that galaxy limit, when I had an Idea. BUT FIRST I MUST TELL YOU THIS STORY:
All of the Galaxys in SMG2 have their worlds: W1, W2, W3, W4, W5, W6, W7, and W8 is the grand world map. W9 is used for the File select. But supposedly, no W10 exists, Which is why we put our custom Galaxys IN W10. But What If I told you that W10 DOES exist? It actually does. (MarioFaceShipGalaxy, PeachCastleGalaxy, StaffRollGalaxy, and ChildRoomGalaxy use W10) And that is where the game caps off at. But What If I told you that It DOESN'T Actually end there? Now this is just theory, (Although I know for sure that some of it works) But what If we put MORE than 3 New galaxys in the game? The only differnce is that every 7 new galaxys we have to switch worlds. Instead of putting galaxys in W10, We put them in W11! Putting a galaxy in W11 works, but I only have 2 new galaxys right now, so I can't say for sure that this will work. HOWEVER! I will test this later today, so hang tight!

THIS COULD BE SOMETHING BIG!

We were working on this during the SMGM days, but it did not work.

Super Mario Galaxy More...?

Maybe...

Anyway, the results are in and...

Failure

Just Kidding. IT WORKED!

I can't believe it. 4 new galaxys in the game! 2 from SMG RUN, 1 Just for the test, and one that is my testing area.

SunakazeKun, Would you mind telling me what you did to try and make this work when you did? I'd like to know.

Wait, wut...
We have done it in the same way as you: We changed the IDs from some of the galaxies so that we would not have any worlds with more than 7 galaxies, but this did not fix the problem. It could be possible that I forgot to change something. I'm sorry for my earlier post. These are some nice news! :)

Did you try ADDING the galaxy to GalaxyWorldOrderList.bcsv Cause at first, I just changed GalaxyInfo's WorldNo Variable. That didn't work, so I started to look to see if anywhere else there was Worlds. GalaxyWorldOrderList.bcsv had Every galaxy in the game... Except the new ones.

Yes, I tried that as well. I really don't know what the problem was back then.

O_O odd... Actually, Maybe there is a limit to how many galaxys a worldmap can have attached to it. Shall test this.

EX: W1 has 7 galaxys that have their WorldNo = 1. But the map itself has 10 Galaxys Attached to it. 7 that have their WorldNo = 1, and 3 that have other values for this parameter, like 10.

Well, After testing. We have a conclusion.

IT DOESN'T WORK!

Ok, all jokes aside, It works, So long as a galaxy is registered, It should work.
I mean, it did for me!
Now we just need to figure out how to have NEW WORLDS!

THEN WE CAN HAVE SUPER INFINITE GALAXY!!! MUAHAHAHAHA!!

No shift keys were harmed in the typing of the spoiler. XD

Worlds are a little bit more complicated. One thing I know is that each world has its own flags for various things, for example accessing the world for the first time.
I ran a few tests two or three years ago. I think there is a thread about this somewhere...
