Fiachra, you should move the FLUDD HUD and Coin counter to the bottom screen since the DS screen is small and very limited in pixels so it could get annoying at times.

Also, how are you handling the counter for the fludd pack. Are you using some sort of print integer function? I've debugged how the game handled the coin counter, and each digit is handled separately. You should make an example of how to do this because if your handling each digit individually it could get confusing for some people.

Everything looks really nice so far. I just have one question. Are you gonna make custom courses so you can get up to the 15 main courses in SM64DS or are you just gonna use SMS courses?

Maybe total seconds you can use fldd? milliseconds, maybe?

Fiachra here's an idea! You should shorten F.L.U.D.D's hover time because in your latest video F.L.U.D.D's hover time looks WAYYY too long and plus the game would be too easy.



Otherwise INCREDIBLE WORK!! When is it gonna be finished BTW? I'd love a response!

Hey, I don't mean to be rude or anything, but what happened here? Nobody's posted anything since December, Fiachra hasn't been online since September, and his last major video update was over a year ago. I know Fiachra is busy with life and all, but I'd like him to at least give us a short update post telling us whether this project is still alive or not. Then again, I suppose I've sat though longer hiatuses...

I'm fairly sure it's dead. Not posting updates is one thing, but not logging on since September is a bit of a concern. Then again, projects like this have been revived in the past. So who knows?

that's me being sick and tired of the same question posted over and over again.
People have lives outside of the internet. it just feels rude and, if I were to come back to my thread and see all that, it would be demoralizing.

It's looking unlikely that I'll ever finish this so I have decided to release the source code and assets for importing F.L.U.D.D. into SM64DS. You are free to make use of this code and its assets in a ROM hack of your own as long as you give credit for anything used.

To clarify, it's not definitely dead, I may well complete it or a scaled-back version but I can't commit to it which is why 1: I've released the F.L.U.D.D. code so that there's enough for someone interested to make a decent hack out of this in the meantime and 2: I've not released more than the F.L.U.D.D. code and assets.

Idea: I'm giving you this because i'm too lazy to use it in my hack, lol. you could use your original mario model with three fludds and make it so that grabbing a cab doesn't actually change the model, so u could simulate the nozzle boxes lying around

The reason I switched to the multi-character model was because I wanted to use all 4 characters in my hack but by giving Mario all the F.L.U.D.D. abilities there'd have been very little for the others to do. By splitting them up it forces then player to use the full range of characters.
