the only games i'm gonna get is mk8 deluxe and super mario odyssey. i'm not getting legend of zelda because i never grow up with any zelda game because it think the games in the zelda franchise are boring

I hope Super Mario Odyssey is worth the time. Even if I expect it to not match the immense enjoyment I get from Mario Sports Superstars and even Mario Tennis Ultra Smash(!).

I wish for that, as well. I think the most probable outcome would be a port of SSB Wii U and 3DS, with all the content from both games and all DLC included, plus some new content.

I still don't have a Nintendo Switch yet, but the instant Super Mario Odyssey is released will be the instant my new Switch controller goes right into my hands to play the new Mario game.

Lol. Mario is about platforming, not sports. And even then, Ultra Smash is one of his worst sports outings. Judging from what I have heard, Superstars doesn't sound that great either. The golden era of Mario Sports was definitely the Wii and Gamecube.

Regardless, there will almost certainly be Mario Sports on the Switch, whether it's just another Mario and Sonic ripoff game, or something actually worth someone's time. I'm hoping it's the latter since Nintendo is trying to fix all mistakes with the Switch.

Whatever you say. Mario sports were the best of Mario to me. Not denying my enjoyment of platformers, but they don't have the same lasting appeal the multiplayer stuff do.

Mario Party DS was a BLAST with friends. Mario Kart is also really, really fun. Mario Kart can destroy the 2D Mario games any day. The rest of the Mario sports games were always pretty meh to me though.

I actually played Mario Party DS a few weeks ago with my brother and a friend.
30 Rounds all the way! We had an amazing time.
And when we play Mario Kart DS, it becomes more competitive than a Counter-Strike match.
