Could it be possible to make a MvL mode? I think the main issue is the camera only follows one bro at a time, but would it be possible to make the game have P1's camera follow P1 and same for P2? If anything you could have race levels with this. It would also be cool if we could code Battle stars (recode starcoins?). Anyway, my main question is, is it possible, idk how far ASM hacks have gotten so I just wanted to know. Thx

Nobody has really been doing anything ASM-wise in NSMB2. The problem is, people are more interested in NSMB and NSMBU hacking. People need to see that if we have people working on ASM hacks, we can get the stuff that was in NSMBW but missing in its port for the 3DS.
It's kinda like the thing where nobody wants to develop games for Linux because there's not much of an audience there, but in order for an audience to develop, games need to be released for Linux. |

I'm honestly surprised NSMB2 didn't have a MvlL, or at least a MvlL coin battle (like, seriously Nintendo, no coin battle in a coin-based game?).
Alas, something like this would be incredibly difficult to pull off. The closest thing I can see to it is some sort of coin rush co-op/battle, but I don't know how possible that would be. |

The Co-Op mode was nice to see though, so at least we have that. If we could have those multiplayer coin outlines, that would be cool too.
