I did it and put it on my ds2 and it worked until i clicked on a file ( yes i had it in clean mode) and it crashed

Ive heard bad things about sm64ds hacks running on supercard ds two. My R4 card boots it up completely fine.

I've seen the game play of it on youtube as well. I actually found two copies of Another Super Mario 3D on Amazon. One was $39.00 for just the cartridge only and the other is $50.00 for the whole game in a DS box itself too. I was planning on getting it at first, but I latter reconsidered. It's because I wanted to know if it's illegal to buy hacked video games (cartridge for example).

So I dumped my own copy of SM64DS (It's a US copy and it's revision 1) using Decrypt9 on a 2DS and I tried to patch it, but I get an error saying "xdelta3: target window checksum mismatch: XD3_INVALID_INPUT"

I've looked this error up and it said that it means it's the wrong file to patch, but that's strange since it should be the right one. What exactly makes it (Trashman)? Is that just the guy who originally uploaded it to the piracy sites? Is there a specific setting I have to choose in Decrypt9?

(This is probably a really nooby thing to ask)

I have googled it - how do you think I found Decrypt9 in the first place?
(BTW most of those results wouldn't even work since they're for dumping saves, or they require a flashcard and insecure wifi router - wooddumper 3ds is the only thing that may actually work, and even then I'm not sure)

At this point I guess I'm just wondering if anyone's had success using their own dumped cart.

Yeah, Wooddumper 3DS worked fine for me, and I'm sure Decrypt9 works equally well if not better.

I guess it's just a problem with my cartridge then, since it says it's ASMEN1J22 but apparently isn't the right one.
