The program called "RomFS Builder" crashes on me often on this computer. Anyone know of an alternative method?

You could use NTR with a LayeredFS plugin so you don't have to build your romFS

For your information: Unlike HANS, not everyone is able to install NTR CFW.

I don't think there's an alternative at this moment, not from what I know, at the very least.

i think the error was actually due to low space caused by phantom 40gb-ish file/s on the hard drive
