Well, since you're asking I'll make a little list of my personal requests:

-Copy/paste with ctrl

-maybe to open a .cia file in the future?

-undo/redo button

Those are mine, but I can live without them. :)

Could you maybe make it so you can use it to make custom graphics?

I don't get it. Isn't that what the tileset editor is for?

No I mean for re-texturing coins and goombas and stuff. Unless it already does that Idk.

Coins are part of the Standard tilesets. For sprites though, you'd have to edit .bcres files which involves NW4C. I know we're not supposed to talk about that kinda stuff here so I'll stop with that. But if you just want to change textures and not the whole model, you can use the OLD Ohana3DS. (Not rebirth!)

What I want most in order of greatest to least:

1. Editing other areas and their settings

2. Editing and creating locations

3. CTRL C + X + V + Z + A for copying, cutting, pasting, undoing, and selecting

4. Editing progress paths

5. More sprite images

Some of those were already posted. This is unhelpful - it clogs up the thread. Please don't do that. :)

Suggestion (needed to make better sprite images for sprites that already have a sprite image):
Show location of hovered-over sprite (preferably on a status bar).

coinkiller automatically aligns sprites to a grid, even though ingame they dont need to be. This means that even some shapes in the game cannot be recreated in this editor (example the star-shaped coin formations in star-rainbow)

Try pressing shift while dragging jsmb.

Stuff I noticed while using the Editor that could be added:
1. Scroll around with middle mouse button

2. The Text "Zone 1/2/..." scrolls with the level so you can click on it at the very end of it to resize/edit the zone without clicking on it in the menu on the left or scrolling back to the beginning

3. When clicking on an object, let us click on an object in the tileset to change it. Currently you have to delete the object and place a new one or overwrite it

4. Start the Sprite Selection with "All (sorted by numbers" instead of the categories

5. Add a minimap as it's somewhat stupid to search for the level sometimes (Also you never know whether there might be another part of the level somewhere you didnt look)

6. When moving/resizing something to the border of the editor, make it start scrolling into that direction

7. Fix how the windows are handled (super weird, from the taskbar you can only access the main window and if you click on it the currently opened level will show up)

8. Actually save the color we set in the Tileset Editor (white is just not cool :D)

9. Probably way too hard for now: Add a Map16 kind of thing that gets saved in a .txt so you can easily put together a Tileset

10. Maybe change the color of zones slightly because the grid and the zone have almost the same color.

So that's what I've noticed so far :'D

Fix the non-appearing sprite glitch that happens sometimes when you play edited retail levels. E.g. add some Gold Rings to 2-2 a2. (but don't go near buzzy beetles while gold ring is activated - it'll freeze)

EDIT: Although maybe this thread isn't for bugs...

EDIT 2: Or is that what the "Fix Sprites not appearing bug" commit was about?

1. Removing single 3D objects instead of all at once.

2. Mark multiple tiles (dragging) to add them to an object/make them a 3D object.

Explos

Auto obtain the newest SpriteData.xml file whenever you open up Coinkiller, It would be more convenient than repeatedly updating it manually, (It would also help out the people who don't realize they can/need to update it.)

Include a HEX Editor for the Level Settings (ala NSMBe DS) so we can edit things that are not listed in the UI.

Woha. Many things to do :)

Also, uh, implementing some of the sprite images would be a bad idea.
Especially the burners, the amp, the flame chomp and the sledge bro look very odd.

You can also do semi-transparent sprite images using this: https://github.com/RoadrunnerWMC/clip

Adding onto this: The ability to select multiple tiles in the behavior and objects tabs of the tileset editor, say to edit the behavior of multiple tiles at once, or adding multiple tiles to an object at once.

Currently making a tileset is tedious as hell because you have to do everything one tile at a time.

EDIT: Remembering what RomFS folder you selected last and automatically opening it when you open the program.

Thanks for the link to that neat tool
I agree that the burners, amp and sledge bro need reworking, so I'll delete those. But what is wrong with the flame Chomp. That is its starting position for the first, second, third (etc) frame

Well, we all know how the flame chomp looks like: It has a trail of fireballs :)
