I'm going with SMB3. SMW could've been great, but Nintendo screwed it up with all these long stretches of nothing (in the levels). I mean, at least be original! To be frank, SMB3 had quite a few of those too, but it seems like there was so much more effort put into it through the design and the music and story and whatnot, as opposed to SMW.
