there are actually more levels located on the moon, so that gravity would get annoying really fast.

Unless you made it really fun... :3

there is no way that having to wait 3 seconds for mario to fall down after jumping would be more fun than regular gameplay through a longer period of time.

Unless you used it correctly...
You could use it to have the player glide past obstacles to reach the next area, or to navigate between moving grates, or in combination with something akin to pull stars (if you've added anything of the sort, idk, I missed a lot of stuff earlier on), or...with wall jumping between distant moving platforms, or you could have the player use some means of increasing their forward momentum to basically pull repeated long jumps, but faster and farther!!

I certainly think it has possibilities. However, using it level-wide might not work so well, so having it be restricted to certain areas (e.g. the rest of the level has artificial gravity? Idk .-. ) might be a good move. Just my thoughts on the matter ^-^

Not trying to make you do it or want to do it, I just feel that low gravity could have possibilities and wanted to see if perhaps some of these ideas may inspire you or...something...

...then again, I have no sense of the limits of what you can do, so if this is just beyond your abilities, then...sorry about that .-.

Uh, sorry. If you'd prefer me to just shut up about it, just say so and I will .____.

there is nothing you could come up with that's beyond my limitations.
yeah, a seperate low gravity area would be fun, but having it low gravity on one part of the moon, but not on the others would be very weird and inconsistent. in the end the only thing you can do with floaty jumps is "bigger" obstacles and that is not enough to justify floaty jumps in 4 or 5 levels.

Hmm...

...maybe there's planet-wide artificial gravity, but something is wrong with it, resulting in some areas being unaffected? Idk...I guess I was more thinking it'd be interesting as an extended falling scenario with lots of obstacles or whatever, rather than actually jumping .__.

i forgot to mention, a fully functional yoshi with egg throwing and licking enemies is in this romhack too.

The hack looks cool.

I remember on TCRF how it mentioned(or theorized, it'd been a long time since I read that article) that Yoshi was originally going to be rideable in SM64 due to the unused Yoshi egg graphic - Looks like you made that a reality, but I wonder how well it handles.

it handles perfectly well, it's pretty much exactly how you'd expect it to work.

One of the devs did say that yoshi had (or was going to have, until it was scrapped) a greater role in the game.

sadly, there is no code of those left in the game that we found. We've inspected roughly 99% of the code so far - so i really don't think we are gonna find anything. Other things, like the beta trampoline, still had code left in the rom.

Any plans of multiplayer? or playable characters other than Mario?

(Huge fan of yours btw, played every rom hack you released and been following this project since the beginning on smw central lol)

i have no interest in multiplayer, more playable characters might be a thing, but then just as a bonus and not as an actual thing relevant to getting the stars in the game.

That's the best way to do it. I noticed earlier you said nothing is beyond your limitations, and I know you just said you have no interest in multiplayer, but I was thinking maybe a battle mode or race mode could be cool for multiplayer? Just an idea, but I understand if that doesn't interest you either.

that'd be alot of work for basically no gain.

I think you're getting way ahead of yourself.

I don't really think multiplayer will fit well in this hack anyway.

Understood. Lastly, will any other Mario characters be appearing as either bosses or NPC's? Referring to characters like Wario, Waluigi, bowser Jr, Daisy etc

yes, though certainly not the ones you would expect. the characters that appear are mostly ones that existed 20 years ago.
