In Sketchup how can I get a texture to warp to fit a polygon? say for example this Sign:

See how the Arrow Texture is Warped to fit the polygon it's on?

you dont. you use blender.
in sketchup, you have to fill in the lines you model on.

Both work just fine "I can use whatever I want"

Could someone point out the file directory for the model used for an already collected Star? AKA this:

Edit: SM64DSe Bug: When I import with an XML file it messes up the camera angle's for the level I used an XML file on

Ran into another problem: I tried importing a model, but the editor gave me the following error message:[image]

@pacmainia&luigi Try opening the model you tried to import and see if the textures load.

I've had this issue before (never solved it), but it wasn't the editor, it was a problem exporting from blender.

How do I fix it? I'm working on a hack with sms levels/ mariokart isle delfino coursesas levels and this is the only model that works in blender.

I just told, I never fixed it when it happened to me, and besides, you never told us whether the .OBJ,.DAE, or whatever you exported, can import into sketchup.

Import the .OBJ,.DAE, or whatever you exported into sketchup and see if it loads the textures.

If it does, its an SM64DSe error, if not, it has something to do with exporting from blender.

The same error happened to me when I was using a model ripped from another game.

What's Causing this Stupid Texture Problem?

My Model look's like this in sketchup:
But when I import it, it looks like this:
The Mapped Textures get all messed up

Have you checked "vertically flip all textures?"

Funny this topic should come up. I'm having trouble importing a super mushroom and a 1 UP mushroom. It looks fine in the editor:

But it's a bit of a different story in game:

Anyone have any clue how I fix this? Thanks! ;)

How did you get the super mushroom to show up in the editor? What object id is it?

All I did was click "Add Object" and then I typed mushroom. And it came up as one of the options as "Super Mushroom" the same thing can be done with the 1 Up mushroom.

EDIT: I fixed the texture issue with the mushroom. I Re-imported it via .Obj file and it turns out when I imported it the first time it was in .dae format. I don't know why the file format mattered but I'm not complaining at least it imported properly! :)

It's probably not been given proper normals. When this happens you can either add normals as described here or else comment out any lines that look like:
<input semantic="NORMAL" source="#Circle-mesh-normals" offset="1"/>

How can I accurately tell the size of a custom model to the original model I'm replacing?

Also Fiachra When I import object data though an XML file, It messes up the camera angles.

1. Export it and then import it into a model editor like Blender.
2. Which level?

Its a blender error, but only some textures do not work.

So they don't appear in Blender? If they don't appear in Blender then that's not an issue with SM64DSe.
