We absolutely have to be hip, and trendy!

Posted by supergamecube They have long scroll as one of their lists things. I already know too freaking much about long scroll, that's why I even hate it in the first place. |

Out of all things mentioned in that Blog Post, the only thing I agree on is Responsive Design.
Everything else is just terrible. |

I wonder how well responsive design and Acmlmboard would go together... would probably require rewriting the whole layout, since it uses tables a lot
also, there's worse than infinite scrolling: manual infinte scrolling, like for example on Youtube, on a user's video list page, the 'Load more' button all the downsides of infinite scrolling without its only advantage, way to go hipsters and meaningwhile, Youtube's search results page uses normal pagination. Guess being consistent isn't cool anymore. ____________________ NSMBHD - Kafuka - Jul melonDS the most fruity DS emulator there is zafkflzdasd |

Posted by StapleButter I used to think that as well, but it turned out not to be that bad, when I made DSHack.org responsive (yet another Table-heavy Forum). However, it's not completely responsive, as I'm also checking whether you're using a Phone or not (Threads, for example, detect this). It required me to write Code separately for each 'mode', but that was written before making it responsive. |

Tahcryon, here's even more stuff to worry about, when it comes to Turkey:
Turkey killing civilians in Kurdish areas. Dutch Journalist arrested for sending Tweets. German comedian arrested for a simple poem. Turkey demands censorship in Sweden. Did you say "douchebag"? You're doomed! All recent shit your dictator does, most of which happening outside his own borders. I can't understand why Turks still support him. |

The people who hate him are far more than the number of people who like him. The only reason he's still in power is because of the bullshit 'democratic' voting system here in Turkey. Your party couldn't get more than 10% of the votes? Well, all those votes now go to other parties who did pass 10%. Because that's how democratic voting works, right?
Then again, Turkey has never really been stable. It hasn't even existed for 100 years, and it's already faced shittons of military coups and little civil wars. ____________________

Yeah, honestly, as much as most turkish people want to deny it, the Armenian genocide was very true and very fucked up. Also, Erdogan is terrible, he's trying to censor people all over the world, outside his country, which is crazy. I feel bad for people with no free speech laws in their country. Germany for example, still has "hate speech" criminalized (I know, I was shocked too), which is a form of free speech. They can mold anything into hate speech. Honestly if turkey has another government, it would be much better. |

Do you have any idea how much of a hypocrite you look like right now?
You say there can't be any ask threads, yet you allow your own ask thread to still exist, along with Tahcryon's and MarioMaster720's threads. ____________________ A nobody. |

Posted by NintendoFanWhoa, hold on there buddy! You might get banned for expressing your opinion! I'm not saying this because I'm one of those banned users with those "common themes" (cus not banned yet); but you, Arisotura, are a tyrant. A dictator. Everybody's scared of what you'll do to them with every post they make, especially the "n00bs". I've actually been told this, by pm, by a user when he was still new. See, people are scared of you, so they kiss your ass. I now humbly accept my ban, sir. ____________________ NNID: GreenThunder1337 3DS FC: 1521 - 5979 - 1511 |

it's amusing that calling me a dictator is a common theme among people who get banned, because usually they don't understand why, and blaming the admin is easier than questioning yourself
but see, you're wrong, people aren't scared to post here or do things, it's just you being an idiot oh and I found the user you listened to, and we know him for being an idiot. You chose to follow an idiot, deal with the consequences of that choice. it's also ironic, because this was a message you sent after getting doomclocked:

Posted by NintendoFan no, you got it wrong we're only limiting the amount of ask threads. There's no reason to get rid of the few existing threads if they're good. What we want to avoid is a bandwagon phenomenon where everyone creates their own ask thread. It already happened before and it's a fucking mess. Besides, we kind of want to encourage activity other than ask threads. the thread basically says "don't make any more ask threads", not "ask threads are completely forbidden". hope that clears it up ____________________ NSMBHD - Kafuka - Jul melonDS the most fruity DS emulator there is zafkflzdasd |

Compared to my experience at MarioWiki, Kuribo64 is way less corrupt.
Unlike there, people who actually do something wrong here get Banned, while over there, it was more of a "people the Moderators respect first, more recent Members are highly fucked" kind of mentality. After all, MarioWiki is the only place I even got Banned at all (read: Multiple times), while my behaviour there was nothing different from my behaviour here, on GBATemp, on AssemblerGames, on DSHack.org, or on any other Forum I've ever been to. |
