Nice job with this. I might end up learning to hack NSMB2 to use this.

Extract this to the root of your SD card. From the home menu, hold L and R to launch the camera app, and scan this QR code:

The rest of the process is here.

If you are having trouble, post your problem in the thread I just linked, and not here.

Browserhax is broke on 10.6. That won't work. You have to get OOT and a powersave or Cubic Ninja.

The SARC saving seems fixed now, fixing the tileset saving, which was compleatly fine :)

I cannot put into words how awesome that looks! It looks a bit like newer SMBW's world 1 castle tileset. Anyway great work! :D

There are still possibilities to run Homebrew Launcher on 10.6 so you can dump the romfs with braindump.

If you want to get the games files without using your 3ds google is your friend.
(but then, what is the point of modifying the games files without beeing able to play these changes?)

I suppose citra will be able to run NSMB2 soon, but that's the only reason I could think of. Or maybe he does have homebrew and just doesn't know about braindump.

no i just have no way into homebrew on 10.6 because smashhax is to confusing, and i don't have cubic ninja and my OOT cartridge doesn't have the hax on it

You need linux for smashhax, but if smashhax really isn't an option for you, go to some massively active board and ask if somebody in your city is willing to install oothax for you, or buy cubic ninja off ebay or something.

On 10.6 browserhax can be used: https://yls8.mtheall.com/3dsbrowserhax.php (look at the bold text)

Then you could install Oot3Dhax yourself or downgrade to a more exploitable FW with SysUpdater.

@Mariomaster can you send me the XML you have for CoinKiller that has more of the database complete? I can use a script to convert the xml to a query that updates the sprite database.

Uh, browserhax was patched on 10.6, look at the bottom. There is no way to use it. You can access it theoretically using the browser version check bypass, but there's no exploit to run, so nothing will happen.

I made some sprite icons!
Also sprites 21,25,23,59,60,100,101,203,204,259,224,226,222,62,220,303 and 28 can all use the icons of their original block/sprite variants.

By the way, when is the tileset importer going to be released?

FYI NTRcfw has streaming now, and while it isn't full FPS I'd imagine you could get something usable out of it. I'm not quite sure how good the quality is, however.
