I still think phpBB is crap. Their latest effort involves making all the code lolstandards-compliant because some morons decided this is more important than anything else (including adding features or fixing bugs).

I only added administration stuff and thousand replicas of the FAQ page that were used as "Wiki pages" (yeah, I really have to start learning PHP...). Nothing interesting, it is the worst thing I've ever done (beside Pokémon Azure of course). It was really really bad. :/

Honestly, I don't see any difference between the ABXD Style, and the New Style, except that the New Style is slightly higher (probably because of the Smiley?).

The spoilers aren't for hiding huge pictures. You have the imgs tag for that, so quit bitching.

Posting this once and for all so you people stop misunderstanding what spoilers are for.


What they are for

* hiding spoilers (PEACH KIDNAPS BOWSER IN NEW SUPER MARIO LAND BROS 7)

* hiding a bit of NSFW material in a post (if a majority of the post is going to be NSFW, just label the thread as such)


What they are not for

* embedding big images. Use the imgs tag or link them. Oh also, the board shrinks images in posts until they fit, so using a spoiler achieves nothing.

* organizing a big post into collapsible sections. Vertical space doesn't really matter when your browser has a scrollbar.




Also, I'm going by the results of the poll there. I wouldn't have changed this otherwise.



I removed the restrictions on spoilers, too, since the new spoilers discourage the improper uses.

I disagree.

But then again if your post is so ridiculously long that you have to scroll for 10 seconds just to skip it you really use too many linebreaks, too many images, or talk too much.
