Well, if you press home before closing it, the screen turns off and audio is muted, so it does save battery life, not as much as normal sleep mode, about as much as the ambassador GBA games, which had the same functionality. ____________________ Switch on latest firm happily playing Smash daily PC with an i7-4790K, RX480, 16GB ram Various other consoles that are hardly used due to emulation existing |

Working hacks I tested using a 2DS (which is the same as a "normal" 3DS):

For those of you who missed out on the extremely convenient ironhax, fear no more!
yellow8 has released the even more convenient (seriously) homemenuhax! And, as the name suggests, you activate it from the Home menu! Isn't that GREAT!!? Now, I have absolutely no friggin' clue on how to install it tho. Edit: I have no idea how long this has been here, but browserhax.
