Can the file size limit for minipics be raised?

Right now it's at 4 KB. I'd like to use the same minipic here as on RVLution, but even this dedicated APNG compressor can't compress it beyond 8.59 KB.

I suggest a limit of 10 or 15 KB. This wouldn't affect page load time at all, relative to other factors — the background image for the Blarg City theme, for example, is 167 KB, and 10 KB minipics would be a whole order of magnitude smaller than that.


Unrelatedly, "but we also enjoy discussing about whatever" on the homepage should be "but we also enjoy discussing whatever."

It might seem fun for users to have a little "nuke" button to aim at other users, have a little message pop up when they receive it.

If people abuse it, they can be taken care of easily.


There's a global 30-second wait enforced between each post (and between each PM). That's the only thing I believe we need (would greatly slow down automated/furious floods, while not getting too much in the way of regular posting).

Multiple polls should be technically possible with little to no modifications to how they are stored. The thing that would need the most modifications is the interface for entering them.

But would anyone use that? Polls aren't used often to begin with.


Editing polls is something that could be added, but it would need limitations to prevent gross abuse (like "I don't like the results of the poll so I'll just swap the options"). Possibilities include:

* only allow adding new options
* only allow editing/deleting options that haven't gotten votes yet
* allow anything but remove all the votes when saving the changes
