No, It just works as a Mario amiibo, as it does in Mario Party as well. The amiibo itseld is well...gold and silver colors respectively.

Don't forget on mario party 10's Amiibo party they can turn gold during the game if you have gold mario amiibo and silver if they have silver mario amiibo

It's almost as new I think. The only issue is that the reset button on the console likes to get stuck, so I'll have to see what I can do about that...
