Nevermind, found out my problem.
Now, anyone know what would cause me to not be able to use alternate DNS servers? ____________________ NNID: GreenThunder1337 3DS FC: 1521 - 5979 - 1511 |

Just getting started, but some of the homebrew apps don't work properly for me. GameYob, CitrAGB, and 3DSGBA all hang the console when I select them.
Do I need to have some ROMs already on the SD card for those emulators to work? BlargSNES works great though, and it runs so smoothly. A colossal step-up from SnemulDS. 3DSCraft has a fair chance of spawning me in side a wall or something, and I get stuck in a big empty void. |

I can launch Homebrew using the Tubehax method, but the applications don't work. I have BlargSNES and 3DSCraft. They are located inside the '3ds' folder (which is located at the root of the SD card), as they should be. The '3dscraft' folder has two files in it: '3dscraft.3dsx', and '3dscraft.smdh.' The 'blargSnes' folder also has two files in it: 'boot.3dsx', and 'icon.' When I boot up The Homebrew Launcher and tap on wither one of them, the 3DS just freezes. I would appreciate it if someone could help out. ____________________ |

There is a modified version of the boot file around which fixes compatibility with several applications. It hasn't let me down, but I don't know because of what or why this works. ____________________ |

Posted by Anthe Thanks! I'll try that out. EDIT: It works! Thank you so much! Also, it came with a Region-free launcher. I don't think I'll be using it, but it's a nice thing to have... ____________________ |

Confirmed: every SMW hack I've tested works PERFECTLY on blargSNES (ASM-stuffed ones aside). Sound intact and everything! ____________________ NNID: GreenThunder1337 3DS FC: 1521 - 5979 - 1511 |

Smea has released a new version of the boot file to make it work again. I don't know if it will bring any improvements, but here you go! ____________________ |

If anyone wanted it, here's a compiled version of Portal3DS.
Does anyone know why 3DScraft doesn't work btw? ____________________ NNID: GreenThunder1337 3DS FC: 1521 - 5979 - 1511 |

Posted by GreenThunder1337 I found that there's a 50/50 chance when you load the game you spawn in a wall and get stuck and can't do anything. Is that what your problem is? If so, just keep restarting it and eventually it will work. But it's not like 3DSCraft is anywhere near playable yet. |

I've loaded the game a million times, and every time, I'm always standing on nothing, I can't move, and the only thing visible on the top screen is the sky.
Also, if I close the game, it crashes, forcing me to reset me DS. ____________________ NNID: GreenThunder1337 3DS FC: 1521 - 5979 - 1511 |

Posted by GreenThunder1337 Yeah, you're spawning inside the ground. I just keep rebooting and eventually it works. But trust me when I say that you're, really, not missing anything. |

Closing the DS crashes any homebrew booted to from *hax, which will probably always be the case unless you install a CIA, which isn't possible yet as far as I know..
I (Old 3DS, 9.9.0) can confirm that rebooting helps, but I would just wait until Smea fixes the issue (IIRC he acknowledged it on twitter). And like MF64 said, you're not missing out on anything great. ____________________ Website | Twitter |

IF you press home during the homebrew launcher you are able to close it but it doesn't put it to sleep so that's only really if you need to close your 3DS to fit in your pocket ____________________ NNID: Mariomon100 3DS Friend Code: 0473-8619-3062 |

I know the launcher doesn't support sleep mode!
I meant closing 3DScraft. Edit: I mean, I even said "the game" while talking about 3DScraft. Edit 9000: I have a 2DS btw. ____________________ NNID: GreenThunder1337 3DS FC: 1521 - 5979 - 1511 |

Posted by Yami Bruh you know what he's talking about :p. I read that when you press "home" before closing the Homebrew Launcher or an application, the system is able to "sleep". Haven't tested it yet though. ____________________ |
