the forums are set up to show up on that page instead of the main one.

Well then can you make the other four SMG hacking forums show up inside "General SMG Hacking", so it takes up less space?

I'm not really interested in SMG hacking anymore at all. I'm more interested in SMS, 3DS, and Wii U hacking.

I guess whatever plans you have are the best route to go rather than SMG hacking.

Welp, SMG boards removed, I guess I didn't see this thread. I'm honestly a bit sad, the entire fate of the SMG hacking scene could have been changed if SMG2.5 didn't take the route of model importing and instead just focused simply on changing the levels that already existed, like the original project plan described. The decision to remove the boards was justified, but it still makes me shed a tear a little...

Aww…

Also, the issue with something being approved but apparently it never was and is then completely rejected. That would always cause confusion because Glem3 was rarely around and everyone was in constant fear of something being rejected. I think that's why Fnar left. I mean, he spent a lot of work on modeling and I guess he just didn't feel like going through the entire process again because something he worked on a lot was completely scrapped.

You have compromise with a project like that, if you want shit to get done and members not to lose motivation. If two people have two contrasting yet valid arguments on whatever, then some sort of compromise should be reached. At least, allow people to get their ideas in in shape or form. Their ideas are not perfect? That's when compromise comes it. Other people try to improve the idea better so that it is perfect. Only in rare circumstances should something be completely scrapped. I.E.: A test level, some concept that doesn't need to used anymore, etc.

Even if SMG hacking is now only available via Misc. ROM Hacking, Kuribo64's icon is still a luma. :)
