Unless I'm missing something, there appears to be no way to change the thread icon on a thread after posting it, like you can on RVLution. It may just be because I'm on mobile right now though

This may have been suggested already, but maybe another few ranksets? The current, only rankset, Default, doesn't really seem to signify much in my eyes. Or maybe at least a Mario-themed rankset, since Mario franchise games are the primary focus of this site after all.

We need a way for normal users to recover deleted posts (at least for a period of time after deleted), and to disable deleting the first post of a thread.

Deleted posts can be undeleted by staff. As for preventing a thread's first post from deleted, yeah that's a good idea. Kuribo64 had it when it used Blargboard and I believe SB wants to reimplement it into Kuribo64's Acmlmboard 2.064.

The point of deleting posts is that they are supposed to be gone. Obviously, with our system that's not the case (they're just hidden), but that's how it should be.

Letting people undelete their posts could lead to abuse and other dumb shit. It's better if they have to think twice before deleting their post.

The original Kuribo64 (Blargboard) didn't show gender on profiles either, if I remember correctly. As for why ABXD shows it but Blargboard and Acmlmboard don't, you'll have to ask StapleButter.
