That depends on the relations you have with those people, though. If they don't particularly care about you, they'll forget it, yeah.

If you're good friends with them, nothing to worry about either. They might use it at times to push you around, but eh, standard friendship stuff.

If you're seen as the school's official lame kid/victim, well, it's another strike against you.

There was one in my middle school, mostly because he was fun to mess with. He would get angry and whiny for literally no reason, acting like a baby. He was smaller than the others because of having skipped class years. He always had a hugeass backpack.

As much as I hate how middle school shitheads reject anyone who is slightly different from the 'cool' standard, that kid kinda asked for it.

Life is just hard I guess. I've also been stressed out as my finals are coming up soon and all my teachers seem to be pushing us to the breaking point. I mean, that's not really the problem though. It's the STUDYING that's insane. My school year doesn't end until the beginning of June though so I'm trying to put that out of my mind.

Yeah there's someone like that in my class and, frankly, I'm glad he took my place. ^^;
The reason he's pushed around is that, despite being 13 and in grade 8 and whatnot, he looks, acts and speaks like a baby. He also claims to have an IQ of 150, but it seems he doesn't make use of it very often. Then again, IQ is just a number and doesn't reflect your true intelligence.

They calculate IQ based on how quickly you complete puzzles or someshit. Basically, how fast your brain works, and not common sense. Someone can mind-calculate big math operations instantly and still be a total dumbass because they don't have common sense.

I officially have an IQ of 152, but you wouldn't really know it by interacting with me over text.

You're right, it doesn't mean a whole lot at all, because there are so many factors that they don't (and pretty much can't, cognition varies from person to person).

One drawback to having a high IQ is that often the EQ (emotional quotient) is low.
