Um...technically it's built for the Galactic Adventures expansion pack, but it may work on Core Spore as well. I don't know for sure, but who doesn't have GA these days? It's kinda standard-issue for modding .__.

well I bought spore when I had a windows xp, but now I have windows 8. So the game in general crashes all the time, especially in the space part. Which is stupid since I always wanted to finish that game.

...compatibility mode helps some people. If all else fails, you could try a Virtual Machine. That turned into

Yeah, that's the other issue with VMs - they're buggy as heck and really slow :/
