I am not sure if any of you know, but according to Luigi's Bigger Mansion and TCRF, there is a Mario model in the first Luigi's Mansion that is shorter than the one used for Mario in the final game and the model gas Loltergust straps. This apparently where the multiplayer idea came from.
Oh, and the original was originally going to use a 3D add-on for the GameCube but was removed as the add-on would have cost more than the GameCube. News approaching: Recently Newegg.com had LM2/Dark Moon listed as an upcoming Wii U game, and you could even pre-order it (but no release date was shown). Now it has been removed, so people speculate if this was a secret that means that Nintendo will port LM2 on the Wii U O_o MM720's Response: No. Just no. WHY THE F*** WOULD NINTENDO EVEN CONSIDER PORTING A 3DS GAME THAT CAME OUT LESS THAN A YEAR AGO TO THE WII U?. I understand that they're desperate for sales, but then why don't they just make a LM3 for the Wii U instead? (that would be awesome). Hell I'd even like it much more if they decided to port the first LM1 on the Wii U instead (that would also be badass and would make the most sense. Imagine LM1 in HD  )
I mean even if the rumour is true I'll still buy LM2 for the Wii U since I'm that big of a LM fan, but I seriously hope this is a joke or random error. There is more unused content found in the original Luigi's Mansion. There are unused Shy Guy Ghost/Boo Guy colors and even the red tomato that the chef ghost used. Check out TCRF in the link below.

And I was actually the one who wrote most of the LM2 beta section in Mariowiki as well as the one who documented the regional boo dialogue differences first (I checked every boo in the PAL LM2 and compared it to the NTSC one, and I wrote all the differences on Mariowiki)
Also  the beta poison/choke animation is very interesting. I guess the animation would either be caused by those grabbing ghosts or maybe the original effect of the Posion Mushroon was to poison you. Although that animation IS freaky, so they probably left it out because it was too scary). That's what people have been trying to do since forever, but it's impossible as of now, considering we can barely VIEW models, we can't even repack file archives, we basically can't edit the game whatsoever aside from the occasional gecko code like that animation viewer. Basically it's the cliche shit with some dude buying a game from a non-trusted source or some weird used copy at GameStop. Until he starts playing the game and he sees the phrase Good Night then the TV fucks up and goes all black, then his power goes out then the TV turns on by itself saying "Good Night" for the last time then some scary image appears and gives him a heart attack, then he dies from it. The gamecube and the disc overheat and melt and the TV stays on but the image goes away and then the screen is just fucked up when the police arrive. There's more scary details, and that creepypasta was actually "good" in the sense of scaring you. Although it's not like a BEN, The Rake, Jeff the Killer, or smile.jpg. (Please, if you cannot handle scary stuff don't look those up. And don't try to be cool and look up it up cause you think you can handle scary shit. I'm serious, and I kinda regret typing those other creepypastas.) |
