My Google Chrome (and SRWare Iron (uninstalled) and Firefox) is infected.
It comes 3-5 emty ads on every site that destroy the site's form. It's always slow on my web browsers and words become in caps and has a link that leads you to ads. The ads that come on every site is emty and has a check. When you click on the check, the ad disappear and the site take back its form, but on the up and down sides it sometimes doesn't. Here's some examples of how it looks like on Kuribo64: I've installed Adblock to Google Chrome (and SRWare Iron) from Chrome Web Store (didn't do anything), then I switched to Firefox, and it had the same ad problem, so I installed Adblock for Firefox too, and it didn't do anything too, so none of them seems to do something with the emty ads. I think it should be a virus or something. If this is a virus, what anti-virus should I use? Does anyone know how to fix this? |

It might be a virus on your computer itself, or something. Dunno. Tried reinstalling? ____________________ a |

Search 'AdwCleaner'. I used it and it worked perfectly fine. ____________________ *lurks around the site* |

Find those 'SpeeditUp' and 'Radio Canyon' addons/plugins/whatever and remove them.
Might need more effort to remove them, but atleast try that. Restart your browser after having removed them and let us know if they magically come back. Bleh. Those amateur ad injectors are destroying Kuribo64. Almost worth banning the authors if they do show up here. Oh I see. So they are bad things? Do I need to remove the folders, uninstall them or remove them with the browser?
This isn't a joke to destroy my computer, right? |

No, this is serious. Try removing them from the browser.
Even if they're useful. There's that thing with Chrome where extensions update themselves automatically. So sometimes there are assholes who buy useful extensions and turn them into adware garbage, and you end up getting it. ____________________ NSMBHD - Kafuka - Jul melonDS the most fruity DS emulator there is zafkflzdasd |

To remove them from the browser, I have to delete the folders from the C: directory, right? Also, why is this happening to Firefox too? |

Sometimes they run as background programs or services, that's how they install themselves to all the possible browsers (and protect themselves from naive deletion).
You have to find the directories they reside in. May be in the browsers' directories, in Program files, or even in AppData folders. Try deleting them. If that fails, you can use Unlocker to find out which program is keeping you from deleting the folders. Use the task manager to kill said programs and delete the folders. ____________________ NSMBHD - Kafuka - Jul melonDS the most fruity DS emulator there is zafkflzdasd |

Most of my ad viruses are removed from uninstall a program, if it's windows. Mac viruses are pretty hard to remove. Try this if it's a Mac: http://www.thesafemac.com/arg/ |

I've seen this kind of stuff before, with many Students from Countries like Bulgaria, Cameroon, Ethiopia, Pakistan, etc.
I only installed MalwareBytes on their Laptops, and the Ads (plus ~500 more Viruses) were gone. Not the best idea, to Connect an infected PC to the Internet, but I knew, the University Network had decent Anti-Malware stuff, running over the Network. And SamTheTechGamer, it doesn't even take one genius, to realise, that Screenshot was made, from a Windows 8 or higher PC. |

I'm using AdwCleaner as Rogue Cheney said, I'll first try if that works, if it don't, I'll try what you others said. |

Posted by SunakazeKun True, and it's cheap, also. I've got the Premium Version of MalwareBytes, it's only € 22.50 per year, so it's barely any money. |

I've had this problem before, but I don't remember what I did to fix it. I do remember that it was very annoying to get rid of the browser plugin that it showed up as, it would keep reappearing every time I deleted it. ____________________ Can you burn a Luigi board? |

Posted by Yami Cheap? I could buy two burgers from Burger King, two large fries, a huge drink, a cookie, smoothie and gum for that price. Posted by planetaryplayer You see, ads just keep reappearing after you delete them directly from the browser. Sometimes, disabling the add-on can help you but it doesn't always mean it will be effective. Best solution would be to probably download what other users suggest you or to remove them manually from your computer by deleting their file folder. I can't remove one of those stupid add-ons because it says it was installed by an admin. Guess what? I AM the admin! Couldn't remove it ever since and kept bugging me for nearly a year now. <Silvreus>I am a random person…
