If this gets enough progress, could you fully revive this? Not as a full 49 galaxy hack but smoething smaller like 3 or 4 worlds and a story. Even then, 3 worlds might be to much...


We'd work in at most 1-world increments, and honestly once this world is finished I might not do anything else with SMG because I'll be in college. The real question is whether there will be enough team members to do more worlds.

Last view: 2627 days ago 		One of the things I never liked about my remake of the Bob-omb Battlefield model was how the background was so disconnected... I feel the same way here. See if you can connect the background to the hills in the foreground, it'll make for a much better feeling stage.

So, status check: atm texturing BoB and the bowl planet in sky high are what cosmo should do. I need to work on collision. Rean needs to import said collision. And it sure would be nice to have another really good texture mapper wouldn't it glem3

@RM yes Glem made the castle model and I'm fairly sure the smoke was from the volcano in Yoshi Star.

It's an object called "StarPieceSpotEruption"

It renders as a smoke cloud until you activate one if it's functions that makes it explode and release a bunch of star bits. Of course, you can just not make it activate and have it render as a smoke cloud forever.

Anyways, yeah. It was that. The model was painstakingly imported because of it's enormous vert count.
