Last view: 1380 days ago 		Which is the best? I feel that SMG1 is much better than SMG2. The Comet Observatory, the levels, the music etc. make you almost feel you're there. SMG1 has more big main planets unless SMG2 that have many small sections. SMG1 has better design and better ideas than SMG2. Well SMG2 is much easier and better to hack.

Enough of what I feel. Post what you think about the games and vote!

I think so too but I think the first game was awesome too. I just prefer galaxy for the more variety it had and the easier navigation from galaxy to galaxy. I hated those domes in smg1

I think Super Mario Galaxy 2 is way less original then Galaxy one as it is a sequel and is renewing a concept used in the first one. Also the hub in one is way better than two's. But I really love the Galaxies in two more. I also like the more happy feel of SMG2 more than the sort of the alone in space feel of the first one. If you look you can see that SMG has a lot more spaced based backgrounds while SMG2 has a lot more cloud themed ones as well as space based backgrounds. I love SMG2 more, though one is almost as good.

Good Egg Galaxy
A fantastic galaxy. When you see the background, hear the music and see the design you get a good feel.

Honeyhive Galaxy
Even if I didn't like it so much, it give me a real feel about grass and nature. The music do it a lot.

Space Junk Galaxy
It was s bit dark and emty like you said TheSpeedyMouse. But it give you a real feel.

Battlerock Galaxy
The music, the design, the musics. The galaxy is fantastic

It is many galaxies more too like Buoy Base, Beach Bowl, Toy Time, Gold Leaf, Deep Dark and many more.

SMG1 is much better, because of the level design.
SMG2 is better for hacking though.

I'm gonna go with SMG1. It was awesome (in my opinion), and I liked the design of it (especially where Toy Time's background was a bedroom. :P).
