Played that at Dave & Busters the other day. It was ok, it needed more track diversity. Each cup practically had the same type of tracks in it. Definitely not as good as MK8. Fun all the same. The tack featured in the trailer is the best track in the game. I think it looks cool and I want to try it, but I have never heard of or seen a Dave & Busters.  So looks like I'm going to have to wait till its released throughout the US unless some Dave & Busters just magically appears in my city.____________________ You can tell I'm testing new avatars. Nintendo released a trailer showing 3 Mercedez-Benz cars that will come as Free DLC on August 27th:

Some might say it's un-fitting for Mario Kart (and normally I would agree), but MK8 actually features quite many realistic vehicles compared to the other games (Standard ATV/Quad, Sports Coupe, Flame Runner and so on...). Just to be clear, this new update does:
* Allows you to get 3 Mercedez-Benz cars as DLC. * Gives you the option to have the course map on the TV screen. * Gives you the option to automatically have "Next Race" selected after a race so you won't have to scroll down to not pick "View Highlight Wheel". You can still pick the highlight wheel, though. 
* Gives you a records screen. (Like what character/track you play the most, how many coins you've collected. Etc.) * Saves your last kart selection. * Allows you to edit other peoples' Mario Kart TV Highlight videos. * Improves online by making it more stable. (Aka Less Disconnects and actually showing when a friend is racing... YES!!! )
Pretty good update in my opinion. Now just add battle maps and this game goes me from me loving it to REALLY loving it! |
