Can you talk about how much you absolutely love Java?

* no unsigned types
* forces you to deal with most exception types, making you add try/catch blocks everywhere and bloating the code in crap
* meaningwhile, runtime exceptions can go completely unnoticed and wreck the program. Unless the program has a console attached, in that case you get to see the exception messages print in there. You're still able to use the unstable program.
* no way to reliably catch all exceptions in a giant catcher in a Swing app. Half of them will go through it, the other half will make your program freeze without giving any useful information.
* packages, directories, subdirectories and more of that shit. 15 directory deep repositories sure are fun.
* feels big, slow, unnatural
* dead code is FORBIDDEN. Want to skip out a large chunk of code for testing? Nope, you can't just put a 'return;' before it. Instead of ignoring the dead code like any compiler does, Java will yell at you until you properly comment that code out and deal with nested comments.
* and more

What happens to the gate when you strike it with the banhammer?

Can I try holding the banhammer? Tho I might not be able to pick it up.

If I were to touch it, I would be fine right? If it did ban me, It wouldn't make any sense If it hadn't banned you, when you picked it up.

1. One'd say that it would ban the gate, but nope. The gate is stronger than the banhammer. In fact, it throws you a few meters away.

2. It'd be too heavy for you. It has the same kind of security as Thor's hammer.

3. If you touch the handle, you're fine. Otherwise, you get banned.
