It kept saying that mismatch thing, i tried everything to fix it and it didnt work. then i tried to download your 1.0 xdelta and that patched perfectly. so maybe you should fix that.

That's strange, it works perfectly here. You sure you aren't repatching the 1.0 rom or something?

EDIT: Redid the patch with a fresh rom just in case.

I can't find the Star at the Mission Secret Path to Behind Bars. Where is it?


Apparently there was a bug which made it disappear, it's fixed now, though, so just grab the update.

But I have a quick question - Is the final Star (the one you get for defeating Bowser in "Final Showdown") supposed to be added to the Star count? If it is, then it did not add on for me. Also, in the desert level (Course 6), Star 6 is titled "Find the Pharaoh's Tomb." Isn't is spelled "PHAROH"? One last (minor) thing... When you get the Star above the final Star Door, a message pops-up saying "You got 100 coins!" Is that a glitch, or is it non-fixable? Thanks.

So there's 73 stars and the one next to Peach doesn't add to the counter? Well, that's not what was intended, but I suppose it'll have to be that way.

And, well, it's not supposed to say that. Not sure why it does :/ I'll change it.

There's another Problem. When i tried to patch the current revision, it don't work.


Are you patching a new, clean rom, or trying to repatch 1.00? It has to be a new, clean rom.

Last view: 3162 days ago 		The reason I asked if the final Star was supposed to be added to the counter was because in the v1.00 that I played, that Star DID add to the counter, but it DID NOT add in v1.01. Glitch, or intentional? And could it be fixed?

Last view: 1895 days ago 		See, the reason the final star despawned the castle grounds star is because it was set to the same star number. Now they're different, but I guess the game doesn't count this star. Thing is, for some reason, the game doesn't want to spawn regular stars in that level :/

So, it probably can't be (easily) fixed, but I suppose I can look around in memory and see what I can do.

EDIT: There, should work now. Was actually trivial.

You need WARIO (not Mario) to break the blocks and reach the switch underneath them. (Only Wario can destroy the black blocks.)
