@Rosalink13: Agreed. SMS2 would be more appealing than SMG3, in my opinion. I can see so much being done with SMS's physics.

Last view: 1592 days ago 		Id like to see, a SMS2, an SMG3, and SM642 or something. I enjoyed SMG the most because of the wiis capabilities tho. If Nintendo were to do something along any of these lines for the wii u, it would be fantastic! I really loved the SMG series, so another one would be great. The gc and the N64 didn't have the flexibility to be as good in terms of game abilities. Im not talking about graphics.

In short, Id like to see ANY of the following that I stated above.

Last view: 2940 days ago 		I think that the concept could still be expanded on, but I hope they change the hub to be more like SMG 1, where you have more than 2 options at any one time. Also, not the really lame mario head space ship which looked like it belonged in a mario coloring book more than a SMG game.

Nintendo needs to do new things.
Did the other 2 3D roaming mario games got a sequel? No. 2 Its enough. A third one would just be overkill :P
And they really cant add more new stuff. They already showed it in SMG2 when the most new things were yoshi and some powerups :P

Yes I know, but considering this would be another SMG3, it would end up being similar to the first 2 games.

Unless they would revamp everything in the level design, but it would be unlikely, considered they already have 2 games established on that level design.

This. Also, it's not a tired gimmick because there are infinite things that can be done with it. It was the best direction Nintendo could have taken with the series before they were all like "Oh, people like Tanooki Mario, this means that we just need to stop innovating because people like the old stuff".

I would more than welcome an SMG3. You know, as opposed to a SM3D3 or a NSMB3. Oh, and SMS2 will never happen for the same reasons listed above. Ninty thinks that it didn't sell as well.

I feel that sms was a good game, but still lacked a proper main theme, but galaxy, it had everything, beaches, ghosts, lava, water, ice, space, so much in one game! I might be a little bit biased since I do like smg more, but think about it, the galaxy theme in my opinion could be endless, and I don't think there is any other theme that is as endless as this.
