I have to admit that after re-watching all the trailers and seeing every character at least once, I have found that the roster isn't as bad as I originally thought. Sure, Pink Gold Peach is a total WASTE but overall most of the characters are pretty good. Especially the Koopalings. ____________________ You can tell I'm testing new avatars. Well it turns out that there are Mario Kart 8 Demos in all of the GameStop stores across the world. I didn't get to play it but I saw that my closest store had the demo 
Also, THIS is how you promote your games, also now I still wonder.... WHAT WAS YOUR EXCUSE FOR NOT BEING ABLE TO GET THE SSB4 DEMOS ON GAMESTOP INSTEAD OF BEST BUY? > 
They just proved that they're more than capable of getting their demos released worldwide, so....WHY ARE THEY STILL STICKING WITH BEST BUY? My hatred for Best Buy just multiplied by 5x. Aaaanyway gonna try to not bring up too much of that old discussion.. 
Have any of you played the Demo? Also rumours say that we'll also get a Eshop Demo before launch. Oh, gamestop! Might try to go to EB games and try mk8 out, even though I don't own a Wii U, I think this game will be the second best if not the best on the Wii U. |

Electodome was the second best (reminded me of a Sonic Stage). The others were all amazing too. I was surprised to see that all characters had already been unlocked though (that's usually not how DEMOs work. I know what all the tracks are, but I've only seen the trailers so I will still have a "First Time" feel when playing some tracks like Dolphin Shoals, which apparently has good saxophone music that I haven't heard yet. |

Well, apparently there is DLC for Mario Kart 8! In the form of Mercedes. It is releasing in Japan this summer and on an unspecified date for other regions.

Posted by Gmanextreme9 You might want to note that said DLC is free. There are so many butthurt people who criticize this DLC since they haven't understood that this DLC is completely FREE (this is not EA people)
Anyway I was surprised to read about that, and I assumed it was just a joke/rumour at first. Some people think it feels out-of-place (and I kind of agree to a degree), but it's optional and IMO it's nice to give people the choice to drive something more realistic if they're not really into cartoonish karts. However it's nice to know that Nintendo can make Mario Kart DLC. I was kind of disappointed to see only 32 tracks, unless Nintendo was trying to keep that a secret (unlikely) I also am looking forward to seeing the track editor although, I do have my doubts. I am expecting to see something similar to the SSBB stage editor, but I hoping to see something awesome and versatile.
