Well I was pointing more out that I don't see the appeal in DK Jungle and Nintendo should listen more to the crowd's picks for retro tracks instead of Retro Studios' opinion on what tracks should make the cut.

But I do agree with you that the whole retro tracks thing has gotten out of hand, the fact that there was only one GBA track in MK7 scared me. I'd honestly like to have more tracks from the older generations than the one that just came out.

They should quit having an 8-cup limit. That would make it so this kind of thing wouldn't have to happen.

Anyway, I always thought about having the Koopalings in Mario Kart (through the sense of a MKWii hack) but usually I just dismissed the idea as unfeasible. We'll see how Ninty pulls this off.

(Will they all have their own select screen slots? Or will "Koopalings" be one character?)

They are all racing individually so they will have their own slots (unless you control all of them at once. Imagine if they all shared items so you could fire 7 Blue Shells at the leader at once).

But no seriously i know what you are thinking of (You're thinking of something like the Mii character box from MKW). I think they will be individually, but I can't know for sure.

For some strange reason I've never really liked racing on DK Jungle. But I'm perfectly fine on it returning. Maybe they'll make it a little better in MK8.

Last view: 2867 days ago 		So far only 7 retro tracks have been confirmed anyway, so there's still a high chance of Yoshi Valley and other fan favourites to return. Less than half of the retro stages are confirmed so we shouldn't really start complaining ALREADY about courses taking the slots of other courses -_-


Anyway I must be the only one who actually likes DK Jungle. Probably because I'm really fond of tracks based off certain games (Rosalina's Ice World was the biggest disappointment ever. Was THAT supposed to represent Super Mario Galaxy? The course is ok but tbh I dislike the SMG references because they feel random).

Hoping for an actual track worthy of SMG. There's no way Nintendo can convince me that Rosalina's Ice World was the most original SMG track they could make. They could make a friggin CTGP Revolution-big game with only courses based off SMG stages).

As for Gamecube there are only 4 tracks left that have never returned in a retro cup. Since the game will obviously have 2 Gamecube stages like MK7 (and one of them is Dry Dry Desert) I really hope for Wario Colosseum. There is no single course in Mario Kart history that could make better use of gravity gimmicks than Wario Colosseum....
