Yarn Yoshi is an upcoming 2.5D game for the Wii U. This will be the 2nd Yoshi home console game starring only Yoshi, since Yoshi's Story. It's related to Kirby's Epic Yarn, developed by Good-Feel. Why wasn't it shown at E3 2013? It was not ready to be shown there yet. Here is the boxart:

I think the game has been cancelled as well, if you look at Sonic Lost World's Yoshi Island DLC, you will see that it has the same artstyle as Yoshi Yarn which helps the fact Nintendo threw it away. (No offense to Sonic, I still like his games) Also, the game was first introduced at a nintendo direct somewhere in between January to April of 2013. Since that, no information about the game has been released. |

To be fair, nothing directly from Nintendo states it is cancelled. But nothing directly from Nintendo states it isn't cancelled, and it hasn't been shown in over a year, the odds are it was cancelled. And like I said, that boxart you posted is something called "fanart" |

Try again, they aren't just going to cancel it without good reason. Zelda U hasn't even been announced yet, well, we all know it's in development, but they haven't shown anything of the game. Also, with a game like Yarn Yoshi, A 2D PLATFORMER, you'd think it would progress faster than Zelda U. You guys can have a fantasy about how it's not cancelled, but ODDS ARE, it was. (Although I don't really care if if was or wasn't because the game didn't really look that interesting to me.) All of the Yoshi games after SMW2 were pretty much meh for me. |

Sorry for bumping a old thread, but at the same conference where they announced NFP they announced that this game isn't cancelled. I am glad about that, and I am actually looking forward to to this game. |

Well, it looks like this game has been renamed to Ypshi's Wooly World, and it still looks a hell of a lot better than Yoshi's New Island.
