Mario Party 9 hasn't had a lot of hacks, so if your a Mario Party Fan; please feel free to post: Imported characters, texture hacks, move set imports, map imports, etc. I would consider using Brawl Box v0.70, since it doesn't require uncompressed LZ files.

mario party 8 or other ones haven't even be hacked, why don't you try it?

I won't hack Mario Party 8 or the other ones because Mario Party 4-8 have bin files which I don't know how to open them and import the characters into Mario Party 9, and Mario Party 1-3 doesn't have any hacking tools. I was hoping someone could import Koopa Kid into Mario Party 9, since it's the only Mario Party game that has an xml document to work on Riivolution.

Bin files are binary files. It's easy to open them with a hex editor.

Also, any game can be edited with riivolution (Except for a couple, since they need patches to be put in for them to load.)

I don't plan on hacking this at all, I just wanted to make this point.

Yeah, if you've stared at hex of unknown files for long enough, you start to see patterns in how they work. Then you can figure out unknowns and go from there. IDK if the files have sections with bytes, but they should, and of course BRRES files have been long editable.

I know ISO distributing is bad, but you might want to get your own ISO, it's simpler than it sounds, don't worry. It'll take a while to download though.

Rather than downloading an ISO, you can use CleanRip to rip a Wii disc onto an SD card or USB drive. http://wiibrew.org/wiki/CleanRip

Then you're going to need to figure out how. Not everyone has the answers for you, that's what this is all about, you're on your own to figure it out. I would look at existing model formats and see how it compares in hex, and start from there.
