I know it's a long shot, but it would be nice if normal users could select a color for their name on their profile editor. Preferably with a wide range of colors to choose from.

If I remember correctly, this doesn't exist because it would be easy for normal users to impersonate staff.

Yeah, Polari has it.

The only time that custom colors are turned on if the hack is turned on, where it randomly generates a color for each time you load a page. That's only used for celebrations or special occasions.

Well, if you keep your mouse over someone's username, a tooltip appears telling you who the user is. But yeah, as Polari said, I don't feel like having to hover over usernames to know whether they're actually staff or just some derp who chose to impersonate staff.

There could also be users purposely choosing dark colors (most if not all of the board's themes are dark). And basically, tons of potential abuse. So yeah, better to let those to staff only.

What about special people, would it be possible for them to get one color?

I don't mean me, hell, I think there are some people here that are more of a special part of the board then me.. (like MrRean for example), but couldn't you start something like what SMWC did, and have a member of the month by votings and that person gets a color for that month?

I don't understand how the moment you see my post like this, you think I am begging for a silly color. I already accepted your offering in promotion whenever you need me, I understand that things are smooth and I am not needed probably any time soon. But don't take my posts as if all I do it beg. At least appreciate the idea. I am trying to give benefits to other members so they aren't asking about it as well.

I apologize if this is off topic. But I do have another idea.. could you perhaps add a side place for people wishing to hack SM64? Not DS, I mean the regular... I think that more people here could get into modeling with Sketchup and Blender and everything, making levels for SM64, and maybe helping out more with the SMG 2.5. Is it not worth the shot?

(Although I would stick with SM64 and probably not move on to 2.5, I mean, I can model, but nothing of 2.5 quality)

We have a general ROM hacking forum, and SM64 can go there. If someday there's enough interest about it, it'll get its own forum.

In the meantime, see how much activity SM64 hacking generates, even at Jul...

Jul is full of haters though, SMWC has a much huger interest with SM64. They even dedicate a person to be best SM64 hacker in the mosts.

I hope that we can get more joyful people willing to participate in hacking as well...

Some themes don't work with Blagboard, mostly because of the layout change. (Unless it somehow works when you disable the sidebar)

They can be adapted. It's actually fairly easy.

The Grayscale theme was removed because it didn't get much love, like several other themes. Could bring it back, but dunno.
