So yeah, I have the right settings for each type of directional gravity!
This is for GlobalPlaneGravityInBox Regular Gravity X, Y, Z scale- Any you want. Range- Any you want. Distance- Any you want. Priority- 0 Inverse- -1 Right Gravity Z Rotation- 90 X, Y, Z scale- Any you want. Range- Any you want. Distance- Any you want. Priority- 1004 Inverse- -1 Left Gravity Z Rotation- -90 X, Y, Z scale- Any you want. Range- Any you want. Distance- Any you want. Priority- 2003 Inverse- -1 Upside-Down Gravity X Rotation- 180 X, Y, Z scale- Any you want. Range- Any you want. Distance- Any you want. Priority- 1006 Inverse- -1 Front Gravity X Rotation- 90 X, Y, Z scale- Any you want. Range- Any you want. Distance- Any you want. Priority- 10 Inverse- -1 There are a lot more, but these are mostly the basics. I'll try to find more about these. Also if you're asking how you know which direction it goes to, look at the Green axis line on the gravity object. The way it points is the way it will have Mario standing. ____________________ a |

Good post. I dont think the priorty has to be a certain number, as long as its higher, the gravity will affect mario. A gravity with a lesser priority will have no power inside the range of the gravity with a higher priority. I think, but dont know for sure.
Edit: inverse is useful for spherical and disk gravities you guys know or can guess its use....... ____________________ Remember, every user has to start out somewhere,- Every time I look back at my old posts, I cringe. |

I set the priority to 10 and it changed it from Left to Forward, so I don't think so.
EDIT: Actually it's the Axis you set it on. lolz. ____________________ a |

You're using the GlobalPointblahblahblah object or the Pointed Gravity object? |

Posted by Silver I think it should work for anything, but the pointed gravity is for round planets, not flat surfaces, it allows you to stick to the planet and not fly off into space and die. ____________________ "I hate playing musical chats" ~ Quote of the month |

I'm using GlobalPlaneGravityInBox. ____________________ a |

What's the difference between distance and range? ____________________ Remember, every user has to start out somewhere,- Every time I look back at my old posts, I cringe. |

Nothing, really.
Because all you have to care about for it's size is the scale. ____________________ a |

Posted by PaperplateismGuy I think distance is how far it reach and range how strong it is. (I might be terrible wrong) edit: actually the only thing what matters is the range, its how far the gravity reach. distance can be set to 0 |

oh yeah, I need to set Whitehole to automatically give a new gravity an inverse of -1 instead of loading 0, since it isn't commonly used and can be made by mistake. ____________________ a |

How do I make gravity size bigger? I've edited distance, scale xyz, and even range and none of them are making a difference

it matters how what number scales you used. distance can always be set to 0. range can be set too a number like this 2500 <-- that is for a small planet, if you want to make it bigger and notice something you have to make it to 3000 |

jjess , I know you're trying to help , but you're talking about the wrong thing.
Distance should be -1 Range should be 0 Inverse should be -1 The box of gravity should not be lined up to anything , because anything lined up with it does not get affected by the gravity. ____________________ a |
