Here is a basic note of this galaxy's music:

-Bob-omb Battlefield may as well use Throwback's theme.
-Yoshi's Island 3 may as well use Hightail Falls' theme.
-Ricco Harbor may as well use the original theme from Super Mario Sunshine.

Although MG3 might polish his Ricco remix, I think that the original can still fit since it was also used in Brawl.

100% Agreed. the Ricco Harbor theme should stay how it was in SMS and SSBB, since honestly it already sounds great and is nostalgic. I have a feeling that remixing it would take away some of its nostalgicness (at least it would to me).

Wait, why are you using the SMB main theme? If this is just concept, its pretty good. If you could apply it to the YI3 theme, it would sound nice. But it does still sound a bit too harsh. Maybe try to get some instruments in it with more attack, to balance it out a bit more.

i just wanted to make it a mish mash as pretty much all the retro mario themes sound the same/ use the same chord sequences, wanted to just get a retro feel to it, but using some of the same sounds as the wii/gc marios it has abit of the athletic theme in it, but only bits, the base is from the main theme, but since its my remix, ill just go ahead and do whatever i want and see how it comes out!

No, don't use the main Mario theme. The athletic SMW is probably the best track in the game and I thought it was kind of butchered in SMG2. Let's do it right this time.
