So here it is! Yoshi's Island 3 from Retro Remix! Agent000 has already modeled the entire level with amazing detail. And now he has offered me to texture it. Which I am currently doing ATM. Here is my progress so far.

Not a bad start, Fnar. Only, I see the dirt being a tad bit light. A tad bit, as in 0.5% too light. The grass and the fences look SMG style, as with the dirt.

Nevermind. The dirt's color is good as is.

Anyway, I am looking forward to seeing all those little details like pickaxes and lanterns being textured!

It is probably due to the shape. Remember it has wheels, small features, an interior, and what not. Just take your time with the minecart, Fnar ;). The level is looking nice and it only took you three hours for that entire first part. I'm sure the rest of the level will be easier for you and turn out just as amazing (pickaxes and lanterns!), based on what you have done with this level so far.

Thanks! I'm actually trying to get that done before anything else because of it's difficulty, so it gets done quicker. But what is most hard about is not the shape and faces, but the texture placing and shading. Because remember, I have to make EACH shade manually, since SMG2 doesn't use light.

EDIT: That actually didn't take me 3 hours. But if the textures were already shaded it would of :3 But PUTTING the textures on doesn't take long.

Was ever a written design for YI3? Since it supposed to be abandoned for about around 20 years, will be Para-Goombas ans Koopas in tribute to the Paratroopas, or will there be Choppahs and Twirlips?

There doesn't need to be a design, it's a simple 2D level that's linear. It just needs to be textured, imported, and created and it's finished. Agent just took the liberty to add little details because it should look nice, we have the polygons to spare.
