It's basically 2^X. 2^0 is 1, which is what star 1 usually is which is layer A. 2^1 is 2, which is B, 2^2 is 4 which is C, 2^3 is 8 which is D, etc, all the way up to P

2^15=32768, okay, during the weekend, I'll look for consistency with this pattern and then test it.
Warn me ahead of time if there's anything else to do besides actually creating the new layer
Apparently, it is power of 2 because some galaxies have scenarios that link to multiple layers (Starshine Beach, scenario 1, layers A and D), so it would be a matter of adding the values (1+8=9). I'll check for this too.

I'm getting closer to creating a new main star! :D

Also, should this discussion be moved to a thread called "New Star With It's Own Layer"?

19. The Japanese characters in cameras and AppearPowerStarObj are legitimate Japanese; they can be Google Translated.

Well, no duh they can be. :P

Also, oddly, some galaxies have multiple starting points at 1 location, right next to each other, yet it's never spawned. I still wonder why those are even in there.

20. PetitPorter has 4 different cameras.
21. Fire Flowers can be shrunk, shrinking their hitbox as well, but if it respawns, it will respawn in normal size.

Because it respawns, with the natural settings it has. Not of what you changed it with.

IT WORKED!!! :D
Thanks VERY much!!!

Edit: Bad news, I tell you, BAD NEWS!!! >:)
Rainbow Mario TAKES DAMAGE from a platform with a floor code of 4! (no pun intended; this is not 4 factorial)

So, I figured out why people wanted a DAE to BDL converter. Apparently, DAE is the ONLY format that is compatible with armatures and bones. I did a sample Mario kick animation in Blender and when exporting it in various formats, only DAE exported the bones. (It also exported the camera and the lights :P)

Sorry if this is the wrong thread.

Uhh, I don't even think it needs a post in the first place. It should be common knowledge.

It seems to have been triggered by a switch. But it's ever activated.

Also, sorry about snapping at you. I'm in a bit of a trippy mood :P

Actually, it is possible to use the launch star in-game by jumping off the top of the tree where the power star is located in the first mission. You can use the launch star to get back up to the top. Idk about why it was even included, but it was.

DashChargeCylinder.

If you walk into it you run speed increases.

It is used in cosmic Mario races.

Life mushrooms and 1 up mushrooms hitboxes cannot be scaled. This makes the 1 up mushroom on beta supermassive impossible without a small hitbox by comparison.

When you run into a fire flower with a rainbow star, the flower gets kicked away.

I went on from where NoSkinnedTroopa left off.

I tested red crabbers. They worked against King Lakitu
Bullet bills didn't work. They went right through the middle.
Tested on Emulator(with Yoshi)

For King Kaliente,
crabbers went through,(with Yoshi)
aswell as spinys,(with Yoshi)
koopa shells, and Rock Mario went through too.
Tested on Emulator

Rock Mario bounces off of both Dino Piranha, and the Bouldergiest.
Tested on Emulator

Major Burrows was the most interesting.

Rock Mario can actually hit him.

If you ground pound the sand, it doesn't work. but the rock on the planet does.

Sorry for bad quality.

And this is a weird test with Major burrows.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1i6pgnVaHXc
Tested on actual wii.

Will be testing Peewee and Rollodillo soon. Aswell as more with the Bouldergiest and gobblegut. + other bosses if i can think of any.
If you have got any suggestions about what boss you would like met to try next with what objects, please tell me.

Whoa. Rock Mario can HIT Major Burrows! Anyways, could you check if the spin drill can hit Glamdozer?

erm
I still think it should have been tested on a wii. But then again, it would have the same effect.

Spin Drill can't unfortunately hit Glamdozer.
Boulsergiest: Koopa Shells don't work
nor spinys
Bob-Ombs do work.
So do Bullet bills.

Will be testing boomsday machine with spin drill.

Wow nice job PaperplateismGuy! I wanted to know if Major Burrows worked on flat ground for a while! Keep it up!

Bob-ombs when in water (swimmable), act if it was air. Mario drops it when he tries to swim.
When in lava, bob-ombs act if it were normal ground. Mario drops it when he touches lava. (yes, bob-ombs can walk on lava)

I wish I could do that. :(

Edit: so why is HellValleySky in grandmaster Galaxy? (not a question)
Rock Mario either gets hurt and loses his rock mushroom, or he bounces off of Peewee Piranha. If you expose his butt, rock Mario will bounce off always.

This stuff can be used in the final sMG2.5 (alternate ways to defeat bosses)
