Well, you can't thumbs up or reply to comments made before the change. Ugh. Inconvenient, but okay. Soon new comments will be posted and the Google+ sharing opens up a whole new comment world that may even be more rational than the one already in place. Anyway, you can see the original top comments at the top of the page, just not how many thumbs up it actually got.

I don't like what Google's doing, but it's not as bad as you guys think it is.

Exactly. In fact, there are people who say something like "It's no longer YouTube. It's TheirTube". Youtube's slogan is "Share videos with your family, friends, and the world." Google has completely commercialized YouTube.

Others have taken advantage pf it. TimmyTurnersDad was banned so he had to make a new account called GilvaSunner. SilvaGunner's account was suspended (terminated) months prior to TimmyTurnersDad's account termination.

For now, it is not too bad. But the problem is that corporate greed in capitalism leads to corporatism and corporatism leads to fascism or at least to the far-right. Mariogalaxythree's fear of a YouTube filled with censorship could happen because of that spiraling chain reaction.

This is exactly what won't happen. Fascism doesn't evolve out of capitalism - the two are hardly related! Fascism is mass military mobilization and virtual enslavement of the populace around a cult of personality and extreme nationalism. It happened on a large scale maybe seven times. Ever. Believe me, if things get too bad, we can leave, just like you guys said.

What I'm saying is, right now, nothing's going to happen besides some extra posts on YouTube.

And HRE, if you have a problem with commercialization, why didn't you leave all the years ago when that was introduced?

Well, now you dont like a very very small thing google does and you spaz out saying fascism (HRE), and it makes no sense. I get the feeling that you dont even KNOW fascism. Google+ is a joke, and you people make it seem like its a huge deal. It isnt. And if you dont like youtube's new policies, then dont go there anymore. Its like if your favourite restaurant started charging for salt or silverware. Will you make a big deal and sue them? NO, you will just not go there anymore. Thats how capitalism works. Stop complaining.

Surely things are getting real when one of co-founders decided to complain about changes.

Maybe they'll change some of the aspects. I mean, there's been quite a bit of complaint.

But it runs immaculately on oh look, GOOGLE Chrome. They copied Apple's integration idea with google+, gmail, and youtube. They should have just stayed a search engine. That's their problem.
