I've watched some of it, and I am amazed. THIS is how you make a Pokemon anime. The anime actually follows the game's rules (Pokemon even have their HP Bars shown in the important battles!). No more "Pikachu defeated Onix by activating the water system", "Ash got a badge for free", "AIM FOR THE HORN" or "Finish it off with False Swipe!".

Basically this is a better version of the first series Pokemon anime (the one that everyone grew up with and that genwunners constantly defend) which is like the original R/B games and it still has the excitement and action of the original series. THIS is the anime that Nintendo should have made to begin with.

Also this anime reveals the truth behind some important questions asked of the games. Ever wondered why the first Gym Leader's pokemons are so low level that you encounter PRESCHOOLERS with stronger pokemon later on? or why all the Kanto gyms in Gold/Silver were so much stronger than the Johto ones?

Well this anime reveals why. It turns out that all the gym leaders have many pokemon (over 6) with varying levels and power, and they choose the amount of Pokemon as well as the pokemon's power based off the challenger's badges/experience. For example in R/B Brock actually has lots of more much more stronger pokemon, but he intentionally just uses Geodude and Onix under lv 15 against you so you actually stand a chance.

Anyway I highly recommend watching this. I quit watching pokemon anime years ago and this is still amazing. This is what our childhoods should've been! :D

Last view: 2871 days ago 		Yeah Pokemon X and Y are FULL of references to the other games. There's not a single pokemon region that isn't mentioned by name (you can even see pictures of Johto, Sinnoh and Unova in a certain place).

Also I caught a SHINY Beartic today. Man am I lucky! :D (Although I wish I would rather encounter the shiny form of a Gen 6 pokemon)

A couple of weeks? It'd be surprised if the game comes here in the next 10 years.
And even if you did pirate it, you would need an emulator for 3DS, which don't exist.

I wish I had a way to play the game... :(

It turns out that it has at least 18 different types of wing patterns, and the pattern you get is decided where in the world you live. All countries in the world have a specific vivillion pattern, and which one you get depends on where your 3DS location was registered before starting a New Game. Here is a picture of all the current known types:

Anyway I got the "Continental" Version, although I really wanted the Polari, Tundra or Icy Snow versions (since they look more Norwegian). It turns out that 60% of Norway get Polar, 20% get Continental (mostly the southern part), 10% get Tundra and the remaining 10% get Icy Snow (specifically only the most northern cities in Norway get Icy Snow).

So anyway I wonder if any of you have a vivillion (and which type it is). I would really like to get more vivillion with different patterns :3
