Last view: 4172 days ago 		hey guys! long time, no see! I wish this was on better terms, but I did a large f*ck up and, my PC is locked with a window saying
"Compleat one of our survays to unlock computer!" on my screen, and it opened letting my come to all the places with smart people!

so, got any ideas?
and I don't have a install disk to reset my pc, so am I f*cked?

What to do:

Search for any information about the survey on other computer, in google.
Perhaps try to use task manager and kill the app that shows the survey?
Get an antivirus.
From now on, beware from where you download stuff :P

What NOT to do:
Complete the survey.
Format your PC

the way he does it only works on windows versions with the old start menu, and windows 8 doesn't.

Another solution would be formatting and switching back to Windows 7. You'd get rid of both the virus and Windows 8. Double win!

Most PC's come with a system restore, so you can go into bios and launch the software to reinstall windows. That is. If you have it.
