I want to use Whitehole, to make some levels. But the problem is: I don't have an SMG2 ISO. Is there a way to copy the game from a original game disc to the PC? :)

Not unless you have a special drive that can read Wii discs. If you own the game, then it would be much easier to download the ISO via a torrent. (Can't link to one unfortunately since it's against the rules and could get us in trouble) I recommend using uTorrent.

Don't worry about it. Trust me, you want the whole thing.

Or you could use SMGExtractor with the Homebrew Channel.

SMGExtractor's only issue would be the time it takes move everything. Apparently the HomeBrew app 'WiiExplorer' can do the job much faster, but each directory has to be copied manually rather than all at once.

But Homebrew Channel doesn't work on my Wii U anymore. :(

...

You just need ObjectData and StageData to edit levels, and you can find both of those on the dropbox. Illegal? Why did you upload them there in the first place?

Sure, if you want whitehole to work, at least as of this version. If you want to make a decent level, you want the entire filesystem. Same if you want to be able to run whitehole in the future. Lazy people are lazy, can't take the work to get an ISO and be able to use it for whatever if need be.

And why would you need the entire filesystem? Could you possibly add that little detail?

Sure you'll need it for other things, but all this guy wants to make is a level. Save time and computer space by not downloading an entire iso and just downloading the stuff you'll actually use.

And why would you need music files for making a level? The guy never pointed out he was gonna change the music.
